not only is this so true - umbrellas for rain and sunshine - but it made me all nostalgic about the trip I took to the Philppines almost 2.5 years ago now. Wow! so long ago!
Recently, I had the opportunity to hear from the SPU team that recently served the same community on a study abroad trip that developed out of our trip. I was excited to see that the Seattle community continues to serve the people of Cuatro in Valley Golf, Manila, as well as working with the people serving through Kids International Ministries.

That's our team!!!! Aww! This makes me so happy! Remember sitting at Lukas / Luca's italian restaurant at the end of the beach in Puerto, trying to play cards? Or frantically trying to make it to the bangka boat to cross the channel after we went diving/snorkeling in the drizzling rain? :) I miss this group and this trip! So did the Philippines team present on campus?
Hey! Yeah, the team sort-of presented on campus...mainly it was a gathering of their team + sarah and me :) I remember all the fun and learning that happened on that trip - so blessed to have gone!
